Parts and Services for the Power Generation Industry

Everything detailed here we have done, though we do not keep these items in inventory. For some parts we have drawings on hand. For others we would need to generate drawings from customer's parts.

Uintah Machine is considering the possibility of initiating a "service/exchange" program for certain valve assemblies on selected Westinghouse and GE turbines, and entering into agreements with various plants for this kind of service. Under such a program, Uintah would manufacture a set of valve assemblies,and at a predetermined time, come to the customer's plant for a quick valve outage. The old valve assemblies then would be taken back to our facility for a complete inspection/rebuild, and placed in readiness for the next prearranged valve outage. We have not worked out the necessary details as of yet, nor have we yet struck any agreements with potential users of this service. But we are investigating the possibilities. It seems that as more states are deregulated and the market becomes more competitive, that shorter and shorter outages will be the order of the day. The idea is to keep the outages as short as possible. We would be pleased to hear from anyone who may have an interest in such a service, or even just some worthwhile comments. 	parts and services for steam turbines studs, nuts & washers GE and Westinghouse parts from Inconel X750, 422 Stainless, B-16, etc. We can make the new parts, remove the old ,and install the new. t-valve stems From 422 SS or other, nitrided as required valve bushings From Nitralloy, 422 SS, etc.

	valve seats built or refurbished Stellite overlays applied and machined. New seat inserts can be built from scratch.

	valve bonnets, assemblies, and parts rebuilt stems and bushings removed holes bored and/or honed new bushings fitted and installed spiral wound gasket modifications

	seal segments machined to size or built new from ferrous or non ferrous as required
